Setting Up FPPC Information

Before generating an FPPC contribution review worksheet, configure your committee information in Pulsar. The worksheet helps you review contributions; it is not a filing-ready Form 460.

The Committee Info tab where you enter your committee details

What You'll Need

• Campaign Manager or Treasurer permissions

• Your FPPC Committee ID number

• Your treasurer's name, email and phone

Accessing Committee Info

Open Committee Info

Go to Compliance and open the Committee Info tab.

Committee Information

Enter Committee ID

Enter your FPPC-assigned committee ID in the FPPC Committee ID field. It's the 7-digit number assigned when you registered your committee.

Enter FEC Committee ID (Federal Only)

If your committee also files with the FEC, enter its FEC Committee ID (a C followed by 8 digits) in the FEC Committee ID field.

Fill in your committee details exactly as registered with FPPC

Treasurer Information

Enter Treasurer Name

Enter the full legal name of your committee treasurer.

Enter Treasurer Email

Add an email address where the treasurer can be reached.

Enter Treasurer Phone

Add a phone number where the treasurer can be reached.

Important

Keep this information matched to your official committee registration. Pulsar uses it on the Compliance page and in your compliance score; it doesn't file anything with the FPPC.

Pro Tip

Keep your official committee registration documents handy when setting up. Matching information exactly prevents filing issues.

Troubleshooting

Don't have a Committee ID? You need to register your committee with the California Secretary of State before you file FPPC reports. Visit CAL-ACCESS to register.

Information changed? If your treasurer changes, update it in Pulsar and file a Form 410 (Statement of Organization) amendment with the Secretary of State.
