Common Transfer Scenarios
Campaign Manager Change
When a new campaign manager takes over, transfer ownership so they have full control over campaign operations and billing.
Post-Election Transition
After an election, you may transfer ownership to the candidate's ongoing organization or archive the campaign under new leadership.
Consultant Handoff
When a campaign consultant completes their engagement, they may transfer ownership to the permanent campaign team.
When You Cannot Transfer
Ownership transfer may be blocked if:
• There are no other Admins on the campaign
• The proposed new owner has an unverified email
• There are unpaid invoices or billing issues
• The campaign is in a suspended state
Resolve these issues before attempting the transfer.
Troubleshooting
New owner not in list? They must have Admin role first. Upgrade their role, then try the transfer.
