Two-Factor Authentication

Two-factor authentication (2FA) adds an extra layer of security by requiring a code from your phone in addition to your password.

What You'll Need

• An authenticator app (Google Authenticator, Authy, 1Password, etc.)

• Your current password

Enabling Two-Factor Authentication

Go to Security Settings

Click your avatar → Settings → Security.

Click Enable 2FA

Click Enable Two-Factor Authentication.

Click Enable Two-Factor Authentication in your security settings

Scan QR Code

Open your authenticator app and scan the QR code displayed. This adds Pulsar to your app.

Enter Verification Code

Enter the 6-digit code from your authenticator app to verify setup.

Save Recovery Codes

Download or write down your recovery codes. These let you access your account if you lose your phone.

Important

Store recovery codes in a safe place. Without them and your phone, you could be locked out of your account.

Logging In with 2FA

• Enter your email and password as usual

• Open your authenticator app

• Enter the current 6-digit code

• You're logged in!

Disabling Two-Factor Authentication

Go to Security Settings and click Disable 2FA. You'll need to enter a verification code to confirm.
