How to Navigate Pulsar

Pulsar is designed for quick navigation. Learn the sidebar structure, campaign switching, and shortcuts to work faster.

The Sidebar

The left sidebar is your main navigation. It's organized into sections:

Overview Section

• Dashboard - Your campaign command center

• Campaign Plan - Strategy, budget, and milestones

• Crystal Ball - AI intelligence and predictions

People Section

• Contacts - Your voter/supporter database

• Universe Builder - Target audience creation

Field Section

• Events - Campaign events and RSVPs

• Canvass - Door-to-door operations

• Phone Bank - Calling operations

• Text Bank - SMS campaigns

Comms Section

• Outreach - Email and messaging campaigns

• Social - Social media management

Finance Section

• Fundraising - Donations and donors

• Compliance - FEC/FPPC reporting

Pro Tip: Collapse the Sidebar

Click the hamburger menu icon at the top of the sidebar to collapse it into icons-only mode. This gives you more screen space for content.

Campaign Switcher

If you have access to multiple campaigns, use the campaign switcher at the top of the sidebar:

• Click on the current campaign name

• Select a different campaign from the dropdown

• The page will refresh with that campaign's data

Breadcrumbs

When you navigate into sub-pages, breadcrumbs appear at the top showing your location:

Dashboard > Contacts > Import

Click any breadcrumb to jump back to that level.

Quick Search

Press Cmd+K (Mac) or Ctrl+K (Windows) to open quick search. Search for:

• Contacts by name

• Pages and features

• Recent items
